Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board-Certified Neurofeedback Clinician with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges and transitions. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect — I see therapy as a collaborative journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Many of the people I work with are navigating major life transitions, feeling overwhelmed by stress or anxiety, or searching for a deeper sense of fulfillment and connection. Whether you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or simply ready for change, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood.
Some of my areas of focus include depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, women’s issues, communication, life transitions, and building coping skills. I’m especially passionate about helping people reconnect with their values and sense of self — uncovering not just what’s not working, but what’s possible.
My Professional Path
My journey in the helping professions began in 1992 as a Child and Youth Care Worker supporting children and teens in residential treatment. After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Calgary in 1995, I worked in community-based settings providing in-home counseling and mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
In 2000, I completed my Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Toronto and began practicing psychotherapy, focusing on intensive in-home treatment and short-term, solution-focused therapy. Since 2001, I’ve been honored to work in private practice while also serving as a Clinical Director for a national Employee Assistance Program, overseeing a statewide network of clinicians. I’ve also enjoyed mentoring future social workers as a Field Instructor for USC’s School of Social Work.
Throughout all of these experiences, one thing has remained constant: my commitment to creating meaningful, trusting relationships with clients — and helping them rediscover their own strength and wisdom.
A Little About Me
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a wife and mom to two amazing boys. I love exploring the world through travel and photography, and I stay grounded through hiking, fitness, yoga, nutrition, and time in nature. I believe that balance and self-care aren’t luxuries — they’re essentials.
Let’s Begin, Together
If you’re ready to explore what’s holding you back — and what’s possible on the other side — I’d be honored to walk that path with you. Therapy is a brave step toward a more connected, authentic life. Let’s talk about how we can start that journey together.
